…promises to be one of the showpieces of this year’s Manchester International Festival…There’s something inherently experimental about it, although I hesitate to use that word as it makes it sound small-scale and low-key. Which it quite definitely isn’t. — Matthew Cain from Channel 4 sits in on a Dr Dee rehearsal.
